Beehives and a vegetable Garden
In keeping with Chef Paul Stradner’s « from the vegetable garden to the plate » principle, Villa Rene Lalique is surrounded by a 6-hectare park livened up with a vegetable garden where you can find about 70 different varieties of herbs, vegetables and edible flowers. The kitchen staff helps itself to the various plants on a daily basis to elaborate or season the dishes on the menu.
There are also about ten beehives installed in the sumptuous park. Our beekeeper, Pierre Stephan, takes care of our bees and handles the production of an exceptional organic honey, most notably used by our Pastry Chef Nicolas Multon in the making of his desserts.
