Villa René Lalique
Lounge bar in Alsace
An Iconic Interlude
Whether you are returning from a day of sightseeing, meeting up with friends before dinner, or prolonging the evening’s revelries, the Lounge of the Villa René Lalique offers a warm and inviting haven where you can sit back and soak up some of the designer's iconic pieces, including armchairs adorned with car bonnet ornaments and crystal lamps.
The work of Lady Tina Green and Pietro Mingarelli, the interior architects responsible for refurbishing the Villa René Lalique and creators of the Lalique Maison collection of furniture and decorative accessories inspired by the designer's original motifs, can be seen throughout the establishment.
An Exceptional Tasting
Sat beneath the imposing portraits of the former master of the house, why not sample one of the myriad spirits on display in the finest of crystal bottles designed in partnership with prestigious houses such as Hardy cognac, Beluga vodka, Dictador rum, Patrón tequila and The Glenturret and The Macallan whiskies. Enough to indulge each and every one of your senses.
The Tipi
With its irresistible shape, located near the entrance to the Villa, the tipi is a "smoking room" designed by internationally-renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta, who is also the creator of the Villa’s restaurant and wine cellar. Known for his commitment to environmentally-friendly buildings that combine comfort and visual pleasure, he has created a convivial meeting place complete with comfy armchairs arranged in a circle where, for just a moment, you can shut off from the outside world, disconnecting from it all as if in an elegant and ephemeral bubble.
